The entry fee was Rs.50 and the charges for other places such as(Ripley's Believe it or not,Funplex,Cartoon City,Aqua & Velocity..etc)was Rs.150.

We tried the Aqua,it is 5 feet artificial beach with waves coming for 7Min at an interval of 40min.We played Volleyball and had a nice time there. The film city is also featuring a Food Court. You can feel like being in a Rome Street when you go through the Film City Entrance and buildings

This place is just starting up and will take some time for the completion. Not much sign boards are there in the way to the film city when you come from bangalore.

There are lot of petrol pump stations on the Bangalore - Mysore highway. So no need to worry about petrol.Came back to house @ 6:45pm and my ODO showed 323kms.Huh, i had travelled 90 kms in a day @ a speed of 40km/hr.

Distance:

45 Kms from BTM Layout

12 Kms from Wonder La.

Planned to go again when the film city is fully completed.
Shankar Ganeshhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13633595178263065846noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070280483087853221.post-89860688619880591132008-05-25T19:43:00.004+05:302009-08-21T17:42:16.883+05:30Trip to Muthyala Madhuvu

Near to Anekal

36 kms from BTM Layout

The place will be very good only during rainy seasons

BTM Layout > Bannerghatta > Jigani > Anekal > Muthyala Madhuvu.

Trees are on both the sides of the road and covers the entire road with its shadow. You feel like being in the middle of soft breeze.Once you reach this place, park your vehicles at the top and foot steps are there which takes you to the bottom of the mountain. There is an small river between the mountains and shiva temple along the river side.

No food & snacks are available at this place, better to buy them at Anekal itself. When you're coming from bangalore, once you reach near Anekal,@ the entrance of anekal you could see a V-Shape road and take the right side road which will take you to the anekal market. From there it's hardly 2 kms to the branch road of "Muthyala Madhuvu",There is no sign saying route to this place.Better to ask the people on the way.

Enjoyed this place a lot with my friends : Prakash(XCD125),Balu(Apache RTR),Mahesh (Pulsar) and Kannan.Really had a nice time out there.
Shankar Ganeshhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13633595178263065846noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070280483087853221.post-53424388132697851202008-05-25T19:43:00.003+05:302009-08-21T17:44:47.004+05:30Trip to Bannerghatta Zoo
Bannerghatta National park is situated @ 15kms from BTM Layout, hardly it is a 40 min travel.

10:00 AM - Bought the ticket for Grand Safari

10:15 AM - Van takes you to the "Herbivore Safari Entrance".

We could able to see Bison,Samba Deer initially.Main safari's inside the Zoo were,

1.Beer Safari

2.Lion safari

3.Tiger Safari

4.White Tiger Safari

Each region is circumferenced with the electric connections and also has "Twin Secured Gates".When the safari van approaches each entrance, the first gate of the cage will be opened, and once the vehicle moves into the cage, first gate is closed and then second gate will open.
